Hall of Fame Coach
The task of coaching is more difficult than you may think. You throw every ball, you are on your feet for many hours, you mitigate conflict, emotions, attitude and egos all while trying to bring together a cohesive unit to obtain the ultimate goal of gold.
This evening we are proud to honour the first three inductees into the C5PBA Hall of Fame under the coaches division.
Selection of these inductees has been based on their participation and accomplishments at C5PBA events as well as their work as a coach at all level of our sport.
Our first inductee has coached 17 times at the National Open championship and, although her own accomplishments as a bowler are considerable, it is her ability to guide teams through the often gruelling event of the Open Championship that set her apart.
Her teams have earned 6 gold, 6 silver and 4 bronze medals at the National Open Championships.
As owners of St. Vital Bowling centre in Winnipeg, her influence on youth and adults alike cannot be measured.
The C5PBA is proud to induct into the Coaches Division of the Hall of Fame from Winnipeg, Manitoba, Dylis Turner.
